David Szablowski
David Szablowski is associate professor in Law and Society at York University in Toronto, Canada. His research and teaching focus on law and globalization with an emphasis on the environmental and social governance of extractive industry projects. Prof. Szablowski is currently completing a research project examining the operationalization of emerging transnational norms requiring informed consent or consultation for extractive industry development on indigenous territory.
