Marien González Hidalgo
Marien González Hidalgo received her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from the University Autónoma de Madrid (2007). She has worked for two years at Friends of the Earth-Spain. In 2009-2010, she did the Masters degree on Environmental Studies at ICTA-UAB, focused on Ecological Economics. Her masters research was on the political ecology of forest fires, by means of a case study in South Catalonia. Nowadays her PhD research is focused on the understanding of the relationship between nature and culture, integrating ecofeminism, social phychology and political ecology.
